Welcome to Third Grade!
Third grade is an exciting and challenging time for students. There's so much to learn, and so much to do. Students mature socially and mentally during this phase of life. I consider it the beginning of the "tween phase." As a parent myself, I share your joys as well as your pains!
Education is an invaluable tool that carries a child through life. How much education one has often determines how far one goes. This is my third year as a teacher in Jackson Parish. I am a highly certified elementary teacher registered with the state of Louisiana. I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Grambling State University.
It is my philosophy that every student can succeed when given the proper tools in life. It is a shared responsibility between the teacher and parents to make sure that the tools are accessible and utilized.
